Thats great, I am a youth pastor always looking for more ways to engage our students with the Word of God !!! This resource would enhance the discipleship of our students and praying that God would take them to the next level of their faith !!!!

  • Brian Remsch

This is a great contest! About 4 months into starting a brand new youth ministry at a new church plant. Been looking at LIVE for awhile in developing leaders. Looks like another great resource!

  • http://www.scottctinman.com Scott Tinman

Phil…I have been using LIVE since it started…1st the HS then when JH came out. It has been great to be able to equip my volunteers with the material and utilize the other features with LIVE…it just keeps getting better…is it because of Matty? :)

Would love to add these new modules/features like Student Leadership to our library…so PICK ME!

  • Terry

Love the LIVE curriculum. Have been LIVE High School for 2 years, JR High for 1 year, and looking forward to the new additions.

Developing leaders is a key strategy at our church, not only for our young people, but as well as our adults. I would love to incorporate this product into our teaching rotation.

Matty is truly a great guy and is always there with an answer when you need one.

Would be honored to win this product.

  • http://everyonescalledtoyouthministry.wordpress.com Darren Sutton

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! It is one of the few materials I have used over the past 22 years that didn’t need some type of edit or re-write – and I love the online applications – makes work with volunteers simple and convenient!

  • Dustin D.

Would love to build myself as a leader along with a leadership team using this curriculum. Used a few weeks of LIVE 4 year and have loved what I’ve seen so far. Easy to use out of the “box” and easy to edit and add my own thoughts, ideas, games and video clips. Would love to get my hands on all the LIVE stuff; happy for the chance to win LIVE Leadership.

I have never used Live before, but have wanted to for some time now. I feel it will help in developing material for my teaching time. I have accepted a new youth pastor position at another church so this may be what I need to help get things organized and off to a great start!

  • http://samgamgee.org tom

we currently use the sr hi edition of LIVE and all my leaders love it. especially this year as we’ve more than doubled our attendance. the topics and the web-based format has allowed us to grow our impact. having these new modules are going to be another good “fist bump” to leveraging our discipleship process.

  • Josh Bzovi

    Thanks for the offer, Phil.
    1. I’m going to be honest, I don’t know how this curriculum would enhance our ministry. I’ve only recently (that being about a year and a half) heard of it, but have never looked into it. It sounds good, but no one ever gives “specifics”. However, from where the curriculum comes from, I’m sure it’s awesome.
2/3. I am looking for a curriculum that will challenge young believers in their walk with Christ and really get them thinking about who Jesus is and as that becomes real and tangible to them, challenge them to see the need to spread the Gospel to their friends and live a godly and righteous life. For the nonbeliever or “fence-sitter” that comes through our doors, I’d like a curriculum that presents the Gospel and makes the need for Jesus in their lives clear and in an engaging way.

    God Bless, brother.

@Josh, tomorrow, I am posting an interview with Matty McCage from Simply Youth Ministry. He will give some specifics. Also, if you go the website, they break down what is covered. Also, if you give Matty a call he could let you know the lessons and breakdown.

Awesome giveaway. We’re starting JR. High LIVE in august. Would also love the leadership LIVE.

  • http://www.seventy8productions.com Jeremy Smith

    Phil,
    Great promotional idea!

As for your questions, I would love this curriculum as I have six volunteers who own part of this ministry and any resources would just grow them and this ministry. Also, I currently use the LIVE (hs and jh) curriculum for my small group ministry, a perfectly flexible and effective tool for ministry.

Good luck with the blog and this contest.

  • http://youthworktalk.com youthworktalk

Great to hear that you are using the junior high live. It is so focused on where they are in their development and growth stages as junior highers… Good stuff!

  • Ben H

    PHILBELL!!
I use the Live Live curriculum for both MS and High School! I love the topics and the online delivery tool for my leaders!

  • http://minigig.com Ash

I have not used the LIVE curriculum before. I however would love to give it a shot…been thinking about ways to challenge my students the coming fall and I’ve read good reviews about LIVE.

  • Sarah

Would love an opportunity to use this curriculum, we’re currently trying to start a student leadership group. Looks like a great cirriculum and heard alot about it. Looking for great new challenges using the Word of God. God Bless!

  • Kellie Johnston

I am actually entering to win for a good friend of mine who is about to move into the leadership position of youth minister. She is very young but excited and capable to take over. I really believe that this curriculum will inspire her, give her ideas and a place to start with her new ministry. It would mean a lot to the both of us if she got it.
Our youth program had about 100 kids in it so the lessons and teaching she would get from this will help quite a lot of people.
    Thank you :)
    Kellie

  • Alex M.

This would help us with having lessons on the fly so when some youth leaders are not able to teach we can have another one fill in for them easily.

  • http://www.SPstudents.net Kyle

We are a young church with lots of students who are new to following Jesus and His model of leadership. Looking for something to help get a leadership core off the ground and LIVE could definitely be the answer.
We have mixed in the original LIVE in both MS/HS program Sunday mornings, but it works best in small group environments.

  • http://Www.smackandsnl.com Jessica

Our student leadership team was very successful in its first year. We are looking to plan long term curriculum for the program. We have not used any of it before, but have looked into it. I’m excited about seeing my kids grow!

  • http://www.revyouth.ca Ken McIntyre

Hey I wanted to say thanks for your blog! I hope I win this!

  • http://www.revyouth.ca Ken McIntyre

I’ve been looking to get this resource but don’t have the funds! I’d love to win this.

  • John White

I have not used Live before, but I would be honored to try it out. I want a fresh curriculum that relates to the kids in a way that fires them up for Christ. I remember leaving my Wednesday youth studies fired up to live out my life for God, and I want to experience that!

  • Doug Miller

I have heard lots of good things about the LIVE curriculum! My uncle is an adult youth volunteer for his church youth group and they have been using it and they love it. Gosh, I hope my name is drawn for this! My church youth group could really put some use to it(especially because we have a small budget).

  • http://www.hpumc.com Bob J

Having worked with the youth at our church for sometime now, we are always looking for ways to “feed” these “Hungry For God” Youth! The LIVE study sounds like something we can sink our teeth into! Thanks for the opportunity to win this and provide it to the youth of our growing church!
    Thanks,
    Bob…the snack guy!

  • Charles Basden

We have been using the Live material in Sunday school for almost a year now,and out youth love it. This specific material would help me train my student leadership team, which we are just now starting. I can not think of a better tool to use for training, it is something the kids are used to and like.

  • jerry torrez

We currently use Live in our Junior and High School Ministries. It’s been the best decision we’ve made and has helped us communicate better, share resources, and keep everyone on the same page. With an all volunteer team it’s hard to schedule meetings every week. With Live we are able to meet once a month, but everyone is still connected daily. The text messaging addition allows us to delegate responsibilities as well as provide a powerful tool for our leaders to communicate with our students for small groups.

The Leadership addition would be a huge asset to help us develop our adult and student leaders to own the ministry. We have some leadership material, but the challenge is always time. With this curriculum leaders will not have to spend time developing and more time building long term life changing relationships with urban youth.

  • phyllis jones

finding any good resource to use with jr. high kids is so hard, i have kids from 11-16 in our group and that age gap makes it tough to find lessons that work for all of them,

  • http://www.LifepointYouth.org Jeremy Holbrook

I’ve been researching the Live-Leadership Curriculum for about a month now, and have been extremely impressed with Live. Now I’m caught trying to figure out a way to fit it into my already drained budget; and after reading about the benefits and potential growth this product can provide i’ve thought about e-baying students from the youth ministry, but I’ll hold off at least until the end of this contest, keeping my fingers crossed!

I’m very interested in this product because of the unique opportunities it provides to train leadership partners. In the busy-culture-world, finding the “perfect time” to have regular meetings is like trying to hit the perfect golf-ball drive blindfolded..so difficult to find the sweet spot! But this product offers online training where one can utilize the training at their most convenient time. Also, it provides the ministry leader a chance to gage the growth of individuals in the group.

So, help end online student rental in the Columbus Ohio area and PICK US!

  • Tim Jaggers

I have begun researching LIVE curriculum for use in our hs/jr student ministry. We have almost completely decided to use this and we would love the opportunity to be able to use Leadership as well with our adults! This stuff looks awesome!

  • http://youthworktalk.com youthworktalk

@Jeremy, I hear you. Budgets in Southeast MI have been tight for me in the last few years. However, it was easier to get the budget when I was able to sell the 6 year plan for junior high and high school curriculum. We use both and love it. I love how they fit together and are so cohesive…

@Tim, great stuff! Give Matty a call! He would love to help you get started with LIVE. I can’t guarantee you will win, but I am pretty sure you buy the leadership LIVE curriculum if you don’t. Doug Franklin and the good people over at Leadertreks have created some great material for in the trenches youth workers!

  • vanessa

Never used LIVE curriculum before, but it sounds like it would fit great with our church’s mission. thank you!

  • Bryan Boman

Wow this is awesome! I have been looking at getting this for my group! Glad to here it is great!

  • http://everyonescalledtoyouthministry.com Darren Sutton

I would read your blog even if you weren’t giving away free stuff… :)

  • http://www.pastordarryl.wordpress.com Darryl Nelson

I love the LIVE Curriculum. We currently use the jrhigh trac and the 4 year program. ITS GREAT! I would love to add the leadership track to our line up!

  • Chuck Aden

I just ordered the Jr high and Sr high material and would love to add this leadership curriculum to the mix.

  • http://www.pgwesleyan.org Isaac

I have often considered purchasing Live Curriculum. Everything that I read about it is great, however our budget doesn’t usually allow for it.

  • JR

It sounds great! I don’t use LIVE. I am looking for a relevant, down to earth curriculum and easy to use. Something to connect youth with the Word of God, plain and simple!!!

  • http://www.seedsoffaith.org Geoff Ingram

I love LIVE!!! We have been using the Children’s, Junior High, and High School curriculums since January and they have literally transformed our ministry! Everyone from the volunteers, students, and the parents have totally changed the way they look at our youth ministry. I’ve seen families transformed through the interactive lessons and parent emails and devotions that go along with each lesson.

My next task has been to start my student leadership program and LIVE is the “only” way to go!!! It would be great to have access to the leadership program without the additional expense on the ministry!!
